ProbWorks: ModelCenter is a suite of uncertainty and sensitivity analysis tools for use within Phoenix Integration's ModelCenter collaborative design framework. Each driver component has a particular benefit or utility to different classes of problems. The individual drivers in the current release are:
- Advanced Monte Carlo
- Discrete Probability Optimal Matching Distribution (DPOMD)
- Pareto Sensitivity
- Response Surface Equation (RSE) Generator
The probabilistic capabilities in the ProbWorks: ModelCenter suite are useful when trying to minimize the computational expense for Monte Carlo simulations, ranking the influence of input variables, and design space approximation through Response Surface Methodologies (RSM). A manual and several examples are included.
Each of the algorithms in the suite is coded as a Java component and can easily be dragged-and-dropped into a ModelCenter® project file from a local or remote Analysis Server®.

Phoenix-Integration, Inc. serves as the primary reseller for Pi Blue's Optworks: ModelCenter and ProbWorks: ModelCenter products. For sales and pricing info, please contact blank or call Phoenix Integration at blank.
Individual and division-wide licenses are available. Individual-user licenses are priced at $1999.00 (one-time charge). Discounts are offered for site licenses. In addition, customers may choose to purchase an annual maintenance plan to receive free product upgrades and enhancements of our ModelCenter® versions. Maintenance-plan customers receive limited Technical support (Tier 1 and Tier 2) and may request on-site product training seminars (for an additional fee).
For more information, see our ProbWorks: ModelCenter PDF flyer.
Or download a copy of the presentation entitled "Conducting Probabilistic Design Using ModelCenter and ProbWorks: ModelCenter" given online April 8, 2003.
The presentation includes the following topics: introduction to the ModelCenter environment, overview of the ProbWorks: ModelCenter suite of components, sample case studies of various problems that have used ProbWorks: ModelCenter, and demonstration of a ProbWorks: ModelCenter case study to model uncertainty in a space launch vehicle design process.
